Global Cable ULJ provides specialized training in submarine cable preparation, focusing on jointing, technical skills and safety awareness. Correct cable preparation techniques and assembly of the Global Cable Universal Joint are critical for ensuring reliability in undersea cable systems. The course addresses essential hazards related to submarine cables and manhole environments. Having prior knowledge of fibre splicing also sets a strong foundation for attending this course.

By the end of the 4-day course, students will not only have hands-on experience in preparing cables and assembling ULJ cable joints, but they'll also possess the competence to carry out these tasks independently.
